Industry veteran to lead all Keolis transit operations in United States
ROCKVILLE, MD – November 13, 2014 – Keolis announced today that Stephen W. Shaw has been named President and Chief Executive Officer of its Keolis Transit America subsidiary, with overall responsibility for managing the company’s transit operations in the US. Keolis is a leader in the transit industry, operating fixed-route bus service, shuttle service, paratransit, and taxis, while providing fleet maintenance and call center management for public transportation authorities throughout the US.

Shaw has more than 35 years of experience managing a variety of transportation operations, beginning his career with his family’s business, Shaw Bus Service in Baltimore which operated school buses and motor coaches, where he served as Vice President of Operations. When the company was acquired by Laidlaw Transit he became the company’s Regional Manager and later served as Regional Vice President for Veolia Transportation Services managing the Northeast region for eight years. He joined Keolis Transit America in August 2013 as Chief Operating Officer.
