Shaw Brings Years of Industry Experience and Leadership to Growing Keolis Team
LOS ANGELES – Keolis Transit America is proud to announce the appointment of Stephen W. Shaw as Chief Operating Officer. With its rapid growth and expansion throughout the country, Keolis continues to strengthen its leadership team and maximize the talent that carries the company forward.

Shaw has 34 years of experience in the transportation industry with extensive experience in managing and directing operations. He began his career in his family’s business, Shaw Bus Service, operating school buses and motor coaches in Baltimore, MD. He worked in all facets of the business, eventually serving as Vice President of Operations until the company was acquired by Laidlaw Transit. As Regional Manager for Laidlaw Transit, he oversaw multiple operating locations and contributed significantly to increases in gross revenue and profitability for the company. He then went on to serve as Regional Vice President for Veolia Transportation Services substantially growing his region and successfully leading the largest public to private transportation management conversion in U.S. transit history.
