Ad Wheel Awards celebrate excellence in public transportation marketing and communications
SAN FRANCISCO, CA – October 7, 2015 – Keolis received two first place Ad Wheel Awards from the American Public Transportation Association (APTA) at the organization’s annual meeting Monday. The awards included a first place designation for Keolis’ “Thinking Like A Passenger” print media ads, as well as one for Keolis’ conference and trade show booth which includes a light rail simulator and bus stop, among other features.
“We are thrilled to have been selected for this honor among the hundreds of exceptional entries”, said Leslie Aun, Vice President of Communication for Keolis North America. “Everyone in this industry works hard to communicate the benefits of quality public transportation and we are proud that our print ads and booth stood out in support of that message.”
The annual Ad Wheel Awards recognize public transportation systems and APTA business members for excellence in five categories including print advertising, electronic media, campaigns, special events and social media. Over 500 entries were competed for the 2015 awards. Entries are divided into four groups based on transportation system size or business size and then divided into the above categories and subcategories. First place honors are awarded in each of the various subcategories. Grand prize designations for each category were also awarded by group.
For more than a century Keolis has been a global leader in managing passenger transportation systems throughout the world, transporting 3 billion passengers a year via trains, buses, shuttles and taxis, while providing fleet management and maintenance, logistics and routing services.
