Montreal, October 16, 2015 – Keolis Canada is delighted with the renewal of its contract as operator for Transport urbain Les Moulins, through the company’s subsidiary Lanau Bus SEC. Last night, the RCM council approved the decision to entrust Keolis Canada with service to its territory, which includes the towns of Terrebonne and Mascouche. This second mandate consolidates the Quebec activities of the Keolis group subsidiary.

“Faced with a highly demanding set of specifications, the quality of the Keolis team and its technical resources made all the difference. I am very happy and proud of the confidence the RCM Les Moulins has placed in us by entrusting Keolis with the operation of its public transit system for the next ten years,” said the President and COO of Keolis Canada, Patrick Gilloux.

Among the specifications required by Transport urbain Les Moulins, the bidder must operate a fleet of 81 transit buses, 25% of them new vehicles. The contract covers a period of 10 years, effective from 2017. Almost 200 local jobs are being maintained.
