Five-year contract valued at up to $29.5 million, $39.7 million with extension options
POMPANO, FL – January 19, 2016 – In a unanimous board vote last month, the South Florida Regional Transportation Authority (SFRTA) awarded Keolis a five-year operational contract for the organization’s Tri-Rail shuttle bus service. Keolis has been the operator of the contract since 2012 with other Keolis-acquired providers operating the contract since 2010.
The Tri-Rail Shuttle Bus contract is valued up to $29.5 million for the first five years with two, one-year extension options that when exercised value the contract at an additional $10.2 million or $39.7 million total.

The Tri-Rail Shuttle Bus service operates along 54 routes throughout South Florida connecting Tri-Rail passengers and employees to and from select Tri-Rail stations. The shuttle service operates 20 hours a day and rides are provided free of charge.
