As President of Keolis Commuter Services, Gerald Francis leads the company’s public affairs and community outreach activities. Serving as the key liaison and spokesperson, Gerald ensures the exchange of best practices between Keolis subsidiaries and contributes to business development activities locally and nationally. For nearly 35 years, Gerald has led major transit and transportation systems including commuter rail, heavy rail, light rail, freight rail and paratransit service operations. He comes to Keolis from TASI – Caltrain, where he served as General Manager for Herzog Transit Services. Prior to that, he served as Deputy General Manager for the Washington DC Metropolitan Transit Authority in Washington, DC. Gerald holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Creighton University.
